Mount Whiteface (4020')

Whiteface is a rugged peak in the Sandwich Range. One of the furtherest South peaks of the official 48 Whiteface climbs 4020 feet from near the shores of Squam Lake.

Parking Area:

 

Park at the Ferncroft Parking Area

Take the Dicey Mill's Trail (moderate difficulty) Northwest for 1.6 mi.

Stay to the left (West) onto the Tom Wiggin Trail (difficult) for 1.1 mi.

Take the Blueberry Ledge Trail (difficult and very rocky) for 0.8 mi.

The Blueberry Ledge Trail is short but very intense and has some elements of bouldering to get up and onto the summit.
