Mount Tom (4051')

Mount Tom is the Northernmost peak on the Willey Range in the North Western Whites. Just off Route 302 Tom is a nice hike with many opportunities to hit other peaks on the way up or down.

Park at Crawford Notch.

Take the Avalon Trail 1.2 mi.

Continue West onto the A-to-Z Trail 1.0 mi.

Turn Right (North) onto the Mount Tom Spur Trail (0.6 mi. to summit)

Most Direct Route:

Starting from Crawford Notch you can stay on the Avalon Trail to the summit of Avalon then continue South to Mt. Field, another 4000'er then head North on the Willey Range Trail to the Mt. Tom Spur. Adding just 1.4 miles to your trip and 2 more summits.
