Middle Carter (4610')

Middle Carter is exactly what it sounds like, the middle of the Carter Range. To the East of the Presidentials, Middle Carter offers great views into the Tuckerman's Ravine and Mt. Washington. The Carter Range is also a prime place to do some peak bagging.

The whole Carter Range offers some of my favorite views in the White Mountains. I suggest climbing Mt. Hight, even though it is not a "official" counted 4000'er it is one of the most awe-inspiring views in the Whites.
